Eligibility Criteria:-
NATIOINALITY/CITIZENSHIP
A candidate must be either i) a Citizen of India or ii) a subject of Nepal or iii) subject of Bhutan or iv) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India or v) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India, provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) & (v) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India. A candidate in whose case a certificate of eligibility is necessary may be admitted to the examination &/ or interview conducted by the Bank but on final selection the offer of appointment may be given only after the Government of India has issued the necessary eligibility certificate.
Educational Qualifications: (As on 01.01.2009):
1. For Arts Graduate – minimum 60 % marks and for other than Arts Graduate – minimum 65 % marks. For SC/ST/PC candidates – minimum 55% marks for Arts Graduate and for other than Arts graduate- minimum 60% marks. The Degree should be from a recognised university
2. Computer literacy shall be an essential qualification, which the candidate must either possess before or acquire within six months of joining the Bank.
3. Diploma in Banking & Finance (DBF) from Indian Institute of Banking and Finance (IIBF) is a desirable qualification besides the above entry level qualification.
AGE: (As on 01.01.2009): Minimum: 21 Years and Maximum: 30 Years

Rs 400/- (Rs.50/. SC/ST/PWD Candidates) in cash at the any of the IOB and take candidate’s copy of Payment Receipt Challan.
Emoluments for the post of Probationary Officers – JMG Scale – I :
Pay Scale – Rs.10000 – 470/6-12820-500/3-14320-560/7-18240 (under revision)
Approximate Cost to Company after confirmation would be around Rs.4.00 lakhs p.a ( including perks and other benefits) subject to Bank’s Service rules.
