Telecom Technical Assistant Job in BSNL

Location — Chennai

Eligibility — Diploma (Telecom/ EEE/ ECE/ Radio/ CSE)/ M Sc (Electronics)

Applications on A4 size Xerox paper in the prescribed proforma given below are invited from the candidates belong to Chennai, Chingalpet, Kanchipuram and Thiruvallur Districts for the post of Telecom Technical Assistant (TTA) in the scale of pay of Rs. 7100-200-10100 + allowances as applicable as per Rules.

Eligibility Criteria:
Age: Candidates must be between 18 and 27 years as on 27.11.2007(i.e. last date of receipt of  application)

Qualification: A candidate must have possessed three years Engineering Diploma in Telecom Engg./Electronics Engg./Electrical Engg./Radio Engg./Computer Engg./ Instrument Technology/M.Sc. (Electronics) from a recognized Institution/University on the date of application

Examination fee : Rs. 500/-(Rs. Five hundred only) in the form of Bank Draft drawn from a Nationalized Bank in favour of “Accounts Officer(C & A), HQ Zone, BSNL, Chennai Telephones” payable at Chennai in a single draft. Fees once paid will not be refunded at any circumstances. SC/ST/PH candidates are exempted from examination fee provided they should have enclosed necessary community/Medical certificates. 

How to apply:
Applications in A4 size (30cm x 20cm) completed in all respects in the prescribed proforma alongwith the attested copies of the certificates in respect of qualification, age, and community etc., should reach the Sub Divisional Engineer (Recruitment), O/o The Deputy General Manager(A), Chennai Telephones, No. 89, Millers Road, Chennai 600 010 on or before 27th November, 2007. Candidates working under Central/State Govt/Public Sector Undertakings should send their applications through proper channel, so as to reach this Office on or before the due date. It would be preferable if the applicant has registered in any of the Employment Exchanges in Chennai/Kanchipuram/Thiruvallur Revenue Districts. Recent passport size photograph attested by a gazetted Officer should be affixed in the space provided for in the application. The envelope containing the application must be duly superscribed with “Application for the post of Telecom Technical Assistant” on top of the envelope. Two self addressed stamped envelopes of 27 x 12 cms and 2 passport size photos identical to the photo pasted in the application should be enclosed along with application.   

List of enclosures:

Two passport size photograph with the name of the candidate on the reverse.
Bank Draft for Rs. 500./- (Rupees five hundred only) drawn in favour of “The Accounts Officer (C&A) HQ, BSNL, Chennai Telephones, Chennai 600 001”.
Attested copy of Educational qualification/SSLC certificate for age proof.
Attested copy of community certificate in respect of SC/ST/OBC candidates. In case of OBC candidates, “no creamy layer” certificate in the prescribed proforma issued by the authority within six months is essential.
No objection certificate from present employer.
Two self addressed and stamped envelops of 27×12 cm size. 
In case of Ex-serviceman, attested copy of discharge certificates and other relevant service certificates.
Note: Please ensure that all enclosures are annexed to the applications properly. No column in the application should be left unfilled. The candidates shall sign their signatures on all true copies/xerox copies of certificates in the attested copies of certificate. Application without signature of the candidate will be rejected out right. The envelop containing the application must be superscribed with “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF TELECOM TECHNICAL ASSISTANT” on top of the envelope
