This role is responsible for the tactical delivery of IT Services (general IT infrastructure – IT Service Desk, Networking, Hardware & Telephony, product deployment and to a limited extent application services), the management of the internal IT Infrastructure systems and services affecting the Bangalore GTSC site, and advocacy of How Microsoft Does IT to a range of Customer and Partner organizations to support revenue growth and company reputation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
This role requires an emphasis on technical capability and project execution skills. Run the IT Utility as a Practice – Service Management, Implementation of new technologies, Management of Vendors, Engagement with internal Customers, focus groups, financial management and metrics and reporting. Also good understanding of telephony / call centre environment.
Assist stakeholders in Bangalore to achieve enhanced productivity through the effective deployment and adoption of technology, and targeted user education.
IT Customer Connection – Delivery of Customer facing events which support the companys commercial goals.
Participate or lead a global or regional team in the improvement of a specific service area or the execution of an important global initiative.

design, class libraries, and virtual execution environments. Proficiency with C++ or other object oriented languages is a must.
