Xchanging – software engineer (JAVA )

Responsible for production support, coding, testing and meeting client SAGs and SLAs as per business requirements.

Key Accountabilities

Proactive support — Identifying application upgrade paths, opportunities for improving design and code of existing applications. Improving maintenance and manageability of applications on Java platform
Reactive support — Troubleshooting production problems, providing technical assistance and support of mission critical applications on Java platform
Basic designing, development and testing of software modules.
Interaction with clients for software modules.
Maintenance of Xchanging in-house code if required.
Quickly become subject matter expert and develop an understanding of Java based portal applications
Communicate with on-shore team of customers, product support and business analysts in UK and Germany.
Documentation of project if required.
