Qualification : Matric, Two years diploma in Electronics/ Telecommunications or equivalent recognised by the Government of India.

Age : 18-27 years as on 15-2-2008 relaxable for SC/ ST/ OBC as per rules and 5 years relaxable for Prasar Bharati employees

Scale of Pay : Rs. 4000-100-6000 plus allowance as admissible.

Attested Photocopies for proof of SC/ ST/ OBC, date of birth, educational qualification should also be enclosed. If any of these certificates are found incorrect at any stage before or after appointment, the candidature as well as the appointment will be cancelled forthwith without any notice.

Typed Application duly filled in the prescribed proforma and complete in all respect alongwith the requisite fee of Rs. 100/- (Rupees 25/- for SC/ ST) by way of Demand Draft/ IPO drawn in favour of DDO, PBBCI, DDK, New Delhi should be submitted to the Director, Doordarshan Kendra, Doordarshan Bhawan, Phase-II, Copernicus Marg, Delhi on or before 15 Feb 2008. Job Discrebtion:
Radiative transfer in atmosphere, retrieval of atmospheric /Oceanic parameters from satellite observation and assimilation of these data in numerical modeling at atmosphere and Ocean.

Introduction Training Programme :
Immediately after joining the candidate have to undergo an Induction Training Programme of four months duration at different ISRO Centres, which will be a prerequisite for confirmation in the Organization.

Requirement of Project Engineers on Fixed Tenure Basis:
Applications are invited from Indian Nationals for working as Project Engineers on
Fixed Tenure Basis for a maximum period of 18 MONTHS for our Project Sites.

Number of Posts To a maximum of 09 (NINE) Posts:
Reservation for SC/ST/OBC (Non-creamy layer and physically challenged
candidates) will be as per Government directives.

Eligibility Condition:
Upper age Limit as on date of advertisement:
With One-year experience 33 Years
With Two-years of experience 34 years
Upper age limit is relax able by 5 years for SC & ST, 3 years for OBC and 10
